Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to browse this site, including people with disabilities. The site was built to meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web accessibility, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, level AA.

What has been done

• The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
• Clear page structure with headings and landmarks for screen readers.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
• Text colors meet contrast requirements.
• The home page slideshow and looping videos can be paused, and motion is reduced automatically when your device asks for it.
• Video and image viewers keep keyboard focus inside and close with Escape.
• The site works on phones and can be zoomed up to 200%.

Known limitations

• Videos embedded from YouTube and Instagram are provided by those services, and their players are outside my control. Some videos have no captions, as most of them are visual pieces without speech.
• Descriptions of the photographs are short and general.
